Sheepadoodles are intuitive, loyal, playful and have a thicker build. We have two lines- OES with sheepadoodle, and our signature line we’ve developed for over 5 years. A carefully selected blend of breeds that enhance the traits we love the most! This signature line of Mini Sheepadoodles have the intuitive infusion from the Aussiedoodle moms, the playfulness from the poodle, and the loyalty and thicker bone structure from 2 types of sheepdog... the results are phenomenal, and they’re incredibly stunning to boot! We will always communicate which breeds are used in the current litters so families can decide between OES/poodle and our signature Heritage blend.
TEMPERAMENT
We couldn't imagine creating our Sheepadoodle line without adding in a small percentage of our Aussiedoodle line to two signature sheepadoodle lines. Sheepies can have stubborn streak coming from the sheepdog, but we have corrected this tendency using our intuitive, pleasing Aussiedoodle mothers. The rest of the Sheepadoodle lines offered are straight OES and Poodle. Sheepadoodles from both lines make for an exceptional family dog and are good with children of all ages.
HEALTH
A Heritage Doodle pup is only produced from our most friendly and affectionate health tested sires and dams. We health test them for any genetic anomalies and for their hips and joints as well.
We continue to build up their immune system and health with a diet of biologically appropriate food (raw), supplements and ongoing vet appointments with our amazing holistic and Chinese medicine vet. We are constantly researching the latest studies in canine health to provide better.
SIZING
Mini + Moyen
We have designed the perfect pup that will be guaranteed to stay mini. This means they can be a height of 15 to 17 inches and weigh anywhere between 15 and 32 pounds, maximum. We are now offering Moyen sizes (35-40 lbs)
NEEDS
Their energy needs are pretty average for a dog. They love their walks and doing zoomies around the yard, they are perfect pals for hiking, and they excel at agility. The best part though, is they have an off-switch and follow the lead of their families. If you're a couch potato, they are too. They live to please and love the company of their people, regardless of the family's activity level.
They have a non-shedding wavy fleece coat, and come in a variety of tri and bi colours and merle.
