Affectionate, loyal and friendly, the Cavapoo will love just about anyone one and anything.
TEMPERAMENT
These dogs gets along well with kids and household pets including both canine and feline. Cavapoos thrive on human companionship! Once you have a Cavapoo, the pup will become an important member of your family. He will be inseparable from the clan. Because the Cavapoo considers himself to be part of your pack, he loves to be involved in everything the family is doing. They are small enough to be lap dogs, and bask in your affection!
HEALTH
A Heritage Doodle pup is only produced from our most friendly and affectionate health tested sires and dams. We health test them for any genetic anomalies and for their hips and joints as well through PennHip.
We continue to build up their immune system and health with a diet of biologically appropriate food (raw), supplements and ongoing vet appointments with our amazing holistic and Chinese medicine vet. We are constantly researching the latest studies in canine health to provide better.
SIZING
Cavapoos are a small breed. They can be a height of 9 to 14 inches and weigh anywhere between 12 and 20 pounds.
NEEDS
While the fun-loving Cavapoo doesn’t require extensive exercise, they do need daily activity including at least one walk a day and/or some serious structured indoor playtime. The sturdy little dog loves games such as fetch, chasing a ball or agility related activities that gain lots of praise from his owner. An intelligent breed, they also need regular mental stimulation and playing with different, safe toys is a great way to help him both release any left-over energy and interact with humans.
