Character
Aussiedoodles are truly companion dogs. They are known as "velcro" dogs as they will be your shadow. As they love to be with their people and need to live in the house, never exclusively outdoors.
TEMPERAMENT
Aussiedoodles are exceedingly patient and sweet with all children, right down to the youngest member of your family. They are outgoing, however they tend to be more loyal to their own family members, rather than wagging after a friendly person. They are bred for "therapy-grade" temperament, as we like to say. The service potential is wide open for an Aussiedoodle! We have families that have their dogs in service and therapy training, and can provide references in case that is a future interest for your family.
HEALTH
A Heritage Doodle pup is only produced from our most friendly and affectionate health tested sires and dams. We health test them for any genetic anomalies and for their hips and joints as well.
We continue to build up their immune system and health with a diet of biologically appropriate food (raw), supplements and ongoing vet appointments with our amazing holistic and Chinese medicine vet. We are constantly researching the latest studies in canine health to provide better.
SIZING
We focus on continuing with the Mini Aussiedoodle, which means they can be a height of 12 to 18 inches (typically standing knee height) and weigh anywhere between 15 and 35 pounds, at the max.
NEEDS
Aussiedoodles can get a bad reputation! Ours are NOT highly active due to our multigenerational approach to breeding! Their energy needs are pretty average for a dog. They love their walks and doing zoomies around the yard, they are perfect pals for hiking, and they excel at agility. The best part though, is they have an off-switch and follow the lead of their families. If you're a couch potato, they are too. They live to please and love the company of their people, regardless of the family's activity level.
